The event was full of useful and relevant information and it was not only to caterfor large businesses but also to IT professionals. Chillizone realises that there isa huge scope for SEO as a profession and to business as well. The majority of the ITcompanies are focusing on web and software development but internet marketing isequally important to the IT industry and is not being utilised to its potential.
Internet marketing is not only a huge industry itself but it helps other industriesand especially our local manufactures to promote their products worldwide in a costefficient manner. More than 80% of American and Western European people use internetfor searching and Pakistani companies are sadly no where in major search engines incomparison to Indian and Chinese companies, as a result they have majority of thebusiness.
During the presentation there were few very sensitive issues discussed, such as thecall for greater Government and lobby groups to action growth of Internet marketingindustry in Pakistan. The country is currently losing great revenue in foreigntrade which is being bypassed to other neighbouring countries.
SEO industry is a thriving and mature market worldwide but still in its infancystage in Pakistan, this is resulting in a loss of revenue and field specialism wherethe need for this will become greater, almost mandatory in years to come, but it maytoo late to perform a comeback then. It is imperative that someone takes aninitiative now and stimulates growth came a statement from Mr. Ausaf Ali Khan.
