Social networking sites are a big part of the Internet's newest craze called Web2.0. Sites like Friendster and Myspace are known for bringing together millions ofpeople by providing them with a way to communicate and interact with each other.
MySpace alone has over 150 million registered profiles. They also receive moretraffic than the Internet giant Google. But they selectively enforce a rule in theirterms of service (TOS) that states nobody can advertise inside of their community.
The majority of MySpace's users decide not follow this rule. Some use this resourceto promote themselves, their band, a comedy act, a movie, and some even make aliving from it. Many people get away with this while MySpace strictly punishesothers and does not think twice or even warn them before banning their accounts.
However some marketers have learned the ins and outs of these huge social networkingcommunities. They have adapted ways to fly under the radar of the authorities andcontinue to make money. Recently five of them have been asked and agreed to answerthe publics questions and reveal the methods of how to make a living on socialnetworking sites.
When Terry Brazil the owner of Guru Of Interviews was asked how this event all cametogether he had this to say. "It all started out as a new years resolution.
