Ahmedabad Computer Merchants Association (ACMA) is organizingits third IT Expo  ACMA IT SHOW 2006 in Ahmedabad from 17th to 19th November atAhmedabad Education Society Ground. The timings of the expo will be from 10:30 am inthe morning to 8:30 pm in the evening. The expo is targeted mainly at corporatesegment, SMB segment and SOHO segment.
Speaking to itVARnews, Vice President, ACMA, Kaushik Pandya said, Â The IT expo willshowcase all the IT products and will see participation of all the big IT companiesand dealers, not only from Ahmedabad but from adjoining cities as well. Our previousIT exhibitions ACMA IT SHOW 2004 & 2005 were grand success. Almost all the vendorsin the IT industry participated directly or through channel. We intend to continuethe same success story with ACMA IT SHOW 2006.Â
The event will be inaugurated by a prominent leader of national or state level andis looked upon as one of the largest technology show in Ahmedabad. The associationis expecting over 150 stalls of various sizes i.e. A, B, C sizes and is targeting anaudience of about 2 lakh to 3 lakh. It will register participation from almost allthe Hardware, Software and IT related services companies.
The entire area of exhibition will be made Wi-Fi, which will be sponsored byNetgear. ACMA will publicize the event through large-scale media campaign includinghoardings, News paper advertisements, Channel advertisement, Banners, Posters,Invitation cards etc.
 This expo will offer great opportunity to all manufacturers, vendors and suppliersto promote their products and reach markets otherwise difficult to reach. We alsoplan to address difficult to reach markets like home and education and plan toaddress students and parents by having technology based presentations.
