Bucharest, June 11, 2007 Â AXIGEN (http://www.axigen.com), theprofessional messaging solution vendor, announced today the commercial release ofAXIGEN Mail Sever 4.0. The new version focuses on planning and schedulingrequirements, thus coming with a Personal Organizer module available from bothAXIGENÂ's WebMail and the email client Outlook.

Having time management and mobility in mind, AXIGEN Mail Server 4.0 addressesrequirements of both companies relying on their own mail server and ISPs offeringimproved services to their customers. The Personal Organizer is therefore availablefor both Business and ISP Editions of AXIGEN.

The Personal Organizer comprising tools such as calendar, tasks, journal, notes andcollaborative support is available from both AXIGENÂ's WebMail and email clientOutlook. Outlook availability is supported by the newly introduced AXIGEN OutlookConnector, which also enables most Exchange-like features, including server-sideSearch Folders (e.g. Unread Messages, Large Messages).

 In our efforts to permanently adapt AXIGEN to current business demands, thedevelopment roadmap targets expanding the Outlook-WebMail synchronization tocomprise address books and contacts. At the same time, we are focused to expand ourbusiness relationships by adding more partners to our worldwide distributionnetwork. In the first five months of 2007 alone, our partner network has beenincreased by 60 percent, stated Oana Bornaz, AXIGEN CEO.

As a result of an ongoing localization process, the WebMail interface of AXIGEN MailServer 4.0 is available in 13 languages, as follows: English, Romanian, Norwegian,Spanish, Dutch, Italian, German, Chinese, Russian, Portuguese, Swedish, Czech andPolish.

The AXIGEN Mail Server has recently won the ServerWatch 2007 Product ExcellenceAward for the Communications Server category, after having competed with four othermessaging solutions  Zimbra, CommuniGate, Merak and Lotus. ###
