The new version of Anova, a knowledge sharing script has been released in the market to help its users enhance their Anova site features. The main highlights of the latest version are voting options for questions and answers, and replacement of normal file upload with Swf uploader.
The voting feature for questions and answers will enable site users to caste their vote. If a user finds any interesting questions or if she/he thinks the problem is common and going to help someone else searching for it, he can give a thumb up vote to it and make it visible to others. When users come across a silly or abusive question or answer, the user can give a thumbs down vote. This feature will encourage users to post useful questions and answers on site, thereby helping you develop an answering site free from abuse and inappropriate content.
One more feature that attracted our eyes is the replacement of normal file upload with Swf uploader to upload images for questions and answers. Users love to attach supporting photos for questions and answers, as it helps them to explain their questions or answers better. The replacement of Swf uploader will surely help them upload images easily without any hassle.
The calendar view and lightwindow issues in IE8 were fixed, and php files were updated, to make Anova better and better.
