An affordable, but still powerful web analytics package

ASCO IT has released Expert Data Miner 1.2, highly customizable software that gives an unparallel level of flexibility to parse web log files and analyze the behavior of any group of visitors. The program's main strengths are:

-The possibility to combine several filters on hits or visitors with AND/OR conditions. You can even decide if a user is filtered in/out because of some behavior or segment of the referring URL at his first session or if the filter must apply to any user session.
-With a very broad range of reports on search phrases, search engines and entry pages you can cross reference many variables that you need for website optimization.
-The possibility to display an historical chart for any page and see the contribution of its main referrers in the same chart.
-Unlike most log analyzers, EDM allows you to get conversion rates even if a visitor bookmark your site and purchase an item several weeks later. You can know for each search phrase or landing page or referring website what was the overall conversion rate but also trace back what percentage of the visitors who came according to those criteria asked or posted to the relevant page at their first visit, or one week later, or 3 weeks later...
-Speed: In spite of the abundance of results, it takes normally a few seconds to process a log file of 500,000 lines.
