Chicago, IL, May 8, 2006 Â Responding to the Office of FederalContract Compliance Program (OFCCP) final ruling on Internet applicants which wentinto effect Monday, February, 2006, Avidweb Technologies Inc., a leading provider ofintegrated staffing software solutions, announced of new tools to make it easier forgovernment contractors and subcontractors to comply with the new OFCCP ruleregarding Internet Applicants.
The new OFCCP rule requires federal contractors to obtain where possible, gender,race, and ethnicity data on applicants. The rule also requires contractors toretain all expressions of interest by individuals considered and specifies recordsto be maintained on searches of internal and external databases.
