London, England, 30 October 2007, - Big Faceless Organization(BFO), have released an update to their Java PDF Library and Java PDF Viewer.
Version 2.8.5 of the PDF Library includes the odd bug fix along with improvementsfor documents saved with Acrobat Reader Usage Rights. The Library can now read andwrite PDF documents without damaging these rights. A number of refinements have alsobeen made to the PDF Viewer, which now supports LiveConnect for communication withJavaScript. Memory requirements have also been drastically reduced when displayingPDF s containing very large or high resolution bitmap images. There s also a new release for the Big Faceless Report Generator, primarily to takeadvantage of the fixes made to the PDF Library, along with some custom filterimprovements. The Report Generator is built on version 2.8.5 of the PDF Library andversion 1.1.6 of the Graph Library.
