SAN JOSE, CALIF., Dec. 6, 2006 Â Brian Solis, principal ofFutureWorks PR, an award-winning, specialized tech PR agency, has joined the NewMedia Release (NMRCast) Podcast which discusses and explores the evolution oftraditional press releases. The NMRCast is hosted on Shel Holtz's award-winning For Immediate Release (FIR)podcast.
The series was inspired by Tom Foremski's original post, Die Press Release, Die DieDie, where he tells the PR industry that things cannot go along as they are . . .business as usual while mainstream media goes to hell in a hand basket.
Solis is also on the Working Group for creating a standard for Social Media Releasesalong with Chris Heuer through Social Media Club, the organization they co-founded.
