vueLogic is a standalone batch printing and stamping utility that allows usersacross a network to print over 450 document types (without first viewing or openingin the native application), and provides administrators with strict control overprinting parameters. It uses a simple XML "job ticket" method to handle virtuallyunlimited files and stamping in a single print request. vueLogic can be used as theback-end print engine for essentially any file or database system such asDocumentum, Open Text, UGS, etc., with customers writing their own integrations orCoastal Logic providing custom solutions. Coastal Logic provides a direct batchprinting integration to Enovia MatrixOne, with its product printLogic.
printLogic is a server-based web integration that allows users to batch print filesdirectly from their MatrixOne PLM databases without using the native application tofirst open or view them. Printed files can be automatically stamped with metadatabased on multiple stamp templates created by the Matrix Administrator.Administrators use a simple point-n-click interface for comprehensive control overall printing and metadata stamping settings, all of which are layered on top ofMatrix privileges. New features to be showcased at GCC2006 include the updatedSchema Traversal function, which enables the printing of mark-ups related to drawingfiles, related files in objects such as a Matrix Books, and 2D drawings from CADfiles like UG, ProE, (thereby eliminating the need to create intermediate, genericprintable files like HPGL or PLT).
convertLogic, is Coastal LogicÂ's batch rendering solution that utilizes core Matrixfunctionality to automatically check out, convert, and check files back into theMatrixOne database within the business process lifecycle. convertLogic can renderover 300 file types to PDF or TIFF (without first viewing or opening in the nativeapplication), and runs as a Service that links directly to Matrix. It requires nouser interaction, and provides administrators with complete control over conversionparameters and metadata stamping. New features to be showcased at the conferenceinclude enhanced stamping capabilities and dynamic naming conventions for therendered output files.
