NEW YORK, NY  PhotoPlus Expo (PPE)  October 20, 2005  Datacolor, aninternationally known name in color technology, debuts a spectro-driven precisionprofiling tool in its ColorVision product line at Photo Plus Expo (PPE).ColorVision PrintFIX PROis unveiled at Booth No. 1104 and remains ondisplay throughout PPE, October 20  22, 2005, at the Jacob Javits Convention Centerin New York City.
ColorVision PrintFIX PRO comes bundled with next generation spectro technology fromDatacolor  the Datacolor 1005 Spectrocolorimeter, patch reading hardware andstand-alone software. The new software creates spectro printer profiles thatsupport all RGB-driven inkjet, dye-sub, thermal, chemical and laser printers.PrintFIX PRO also affords users the flexibility and richer interface of astand-alone software application. Sometargets can be read in slightly over two-minutes, while more critical use targetscan be read in under four. The new 1005 Spectro is a native USB device, so there are fewer cables and noexternal power supply requirements PrintFIX PRO rests on a calibration base when notin use.
