HelpDesk for Outlook and SharePoint is based on SharePoint, which is an environment that Microsoft is favoring strongly. This makes the application safe for the future, and users get a lot of features and possibilities. The possibilities to customize the solutions are endless, and there are no problems using multiple helpdesks.
HelpDesk for Outlook and SharePoint has three parts: an Outlook add-on that is installed on every helpdesk worker's client machine, a powerful report generator and any SharePoint template you wish to use. E-mails are converted into tickets in Outlook, manually or automatically, and they are then stored and organized at the SharePoint site. A Settings form in Outlook handles the connection between Outlook and SharePoint. The integrated statistics tool facilitates business intelligence.
