cambridge, ma,November 14, 2007 - In 11 years DIYSearch has become the oldestindependent search engine for independent artists, publishers, musicians, thinkersand craftspeople, and has never made a single cent, but because of some very realfinancial hardships is now desperately seeking sponsors to help support the searchengine's activities.
Diysearch is seeking sponsorships through a variety of methods. The site isn't cheapto run and maintain, and the amount of time, effort and resources during there-build they have come to the conclusion that there needs to be a way for the siteto at least attempt to earn its own keep.
They are looking for active independent projects who want to partner up in some formof either exclusive sponsorship of the site or a cross-promotional effort.
DIYSearch is not looking to just sell banner ad space, in that coming online in thenext couple of weeks they will be implementing a self-service banner insertionprogram for all registered users. This sponsorship effort is more aboutpartnerships.
