The Virtual Window 17 allows viewers to look at 3D images on aflat screen, without the need for special glasses or viewing aids. The display alsofunctions as a regular 2D computer display at the push of a button. Significantimprovements in brightness, contrast and resolution have been made in the newVirtual Window 17.
Software included with the Virtual Window 17 will allow a user to watch 2D DVDmovies in 3D! The software automatically converts normal DVDs on-the-fly into 3D.Now users can watch their favorite DVDs in 3D without glasses on the Virtual Window 17. Additionally, Nvidia offers a stereo driver for their graphics cards whichallows thousands of PC games to be viewed and played in 3D on the Virtual Window 17.
Additional software is available through DTI for users of Amira , BioMedCaChe Workstation, FracSIS, GOCAD, OrthoCAD , Cortona VRML Client, Discovery Studio DSViewer Pro, SolidWorks eDrawings, SpinFire Professional, Spartan, and vCollab. Thesoftware will allow these applications to output 3D to the Virtual Window 17.
