The forum features sectionsabout starting and monetizing both link and article directories, and has its ownmarketplace, where people can offer their directory submission services. In justthree days, the forum already has over a dozen members who have made nearly 50posts.

When asked why he created thesite, directory-owners administrator and founder, Daniel Mullins said,  When I firststarted out in the web directory business, there was a lot I did not know, andthought it would be great to have a resource where I could learn more about settingup a successful directory. So, I started the forums at directory-owners.com to helpother people who are new to directories get the information they need and to createa web site, where those who were experienced in operating directories could sharetheir ideas and tips with others. Site user Jim Smith found the forums to be veryhelpful.  ItÂ's a nice little community , he said,  ItÂ's a great place to find anyinformation or ask any questions I may have regarding the subject.Â
