A UK software development company is set to revolutionisebusiness communications with the launch of an affordable  Business ClassÂ' InstantMessaging (IM) service.
Rozmic Wireless has developed Rozmic Messenger having identified the need fororganisations in both the private and public sectors to support collaborativebusiness processes securely.
Research indicated that IM is the best way to accelerate new forms of collaborationand communication among distributed workforces. The system increases productivity ase-mail inboxes swell with spam. Large and remotely distributed teams requirecontinuous real-time communication, but public access IM systems present a securityrisk which is unacceptable in business.
Ross Cooney, Managing Director with Rozmic Wireless says; "We felt that the market cried out for affordable business class IM services. IM isthe primary communication tool for social networks, now it has been given highsecurity coupled with an easy interface and taken into the enterprise."
Robin Mackie, Chairman of Rozmic says:
"Research has shown that workers want immediate answers, and waiting for theturnaround on a typical email often feels excruciatingly long. Public access IM canhelp speed this process up but it comes with several problems, including security,viruses and inappropriate usage."
In addition to secure communications Rozmic Messenger allows users to see who isonline, and exchange messages with them. Files can be transferred more quickly andsecurely than via email and the system operates from any PC, laptop, hand-helddevice and some mobile phones. Rozmic Firewall protects IM from malware, hackers andviruses.
Sean Sollom , Lead developer at Rozmic says;

Given IM's advantages I can see it becominga major part of the enterprise communications suite. In the same way email gainedascendancy over fax a decade ago, so we believe it is only a matter of time until IMgains ascendancy over email".
Rozmic Wireless Ltd, a software development company specialising in data transferand mobile communications was setup by Ross Cooney and Robin Mackie with the help ofNstar Finance, enterprise agency Entrust and a number of private business angels.The company has released two products and opened offices in Gateshead and Toronto.
