Liberty Street Software has released AssetManage 2007, an powerful Windows-basedasset tracking application. AssetManage will allow you to track where your assetsare, what state they are in, and who they are currently assigned to. AssetManagekeeps track of expenses related to an asset, creates inventories for multiplelocations, and lets you attach images, documents and hyperlinks to each asset. WithAssetManage 2007, you can organize all of your equipment, tools, furniture,computers, vehicles, and other assets for depreciation, tax, and insurance purposes.
It's easy to locate your current assets, and determine what department or personthey're assigned to. You can search for text in any field in the inventory database.You can even search within the free-form notes fields.
AssetManage 2007 is available in two editions, the Standard Edition and anEnterprise Edition. The Standard edition employs a Microsoft Access multi-userready database, while AssetManage Enterprise will work with any ODBC-compatibledatabase, including SQL Server, MySQL and Oracle.
AssetManage 2007 comes with a comprehensive selection of pre-defined reports. Inaddition, you can use the integrated report designer to create custom reports,labels, and file cards. You can print your reports, save them to disk, or exportthem to PDF, HTML, Excel, RTF, XML, text, and other popular formats. WithAssetManage you can print your own barcode labels. All standard barcode formats aresupported, including Code 128, Code 39, UPC, PostNet, Ean 128, and Ean 13.
Track all of your leases, warranties, and service agreements, as well as assetmaintenance and repair history. By attaching all of these documents to the assetdescription, you ensure that critical information is immediately accessible when youneed it. AssetManage 2007 supports the five most commonly used depreciation methods:straight line, double declining balance, 150% declining balance, straightpercentage, and sum of the years digits.
