In a move to add more functionality and services,EventSetter.com has created a new offering with the addition of Online Events. TheOnline Events section, which is separate from the local city events listings, isdesigned specifically for events that occur online or in a virtual setting. Thenewly added, Online Events section was introduced to accommodate the under-servedmarket for these virtual events. It is believed that EventSetter.com is the firstand only events guide to introduce a dedicated section specifically for eventsoccurring online.
The Online Events section has a selection list of media types in conjunction withthe category list for the subject matter of the online events. Some of the mediatypes for the online events include Skypecasts, webinars, internet gaming,teleconferences, as well as many others. With the media types, visitors toEventSetter.com Online Events will have more options for choosing the online eventsin which they plan to participate.
The new Online Events section can be accessed directly atEventSetter.com/online-even ts or from the main page of EventSetter.com and any ofits local city pages. Eventsetter.com believes that the online events willcomplement the service already offered and expand its appeal to a wider audience. Adding the Online Events section to its current service, EventSetter.com is ensuringthat it will better serve the public with the local city event guides and the onlineevent guides.
As with all other listings on EventSetter.com, the online events will be posted byusers associated with or hosting the online event. Although, the local city eventlistings on EventSetter.com are expected to be the most frequently used, the onlineevents section should add more depth to the overall user experience by offering moreservices.
