Simply put reviews are powerful! It's the greatest way to uncover what you're doingwrong! It's funny how we use a review process in our careers, our lives, ourrelationships and it works well. However, most often when a web project iscompleted, we go live with it, and walk away, never looking at it again and wewonder why we're not getting ranked in Google, and or why people aren't buying ourproduct or service.
My view is that it's important if not critical to put together a review process foryour web site regularly and consistently in order to understand what's working whatisn't and get direction about how to fix it. And, your reviews should come from outside , i.e. customers, peers and almost anyone that you can recruit to provideyou with feedback. However there is a rule to follow, never ask for feedback from apeer, friend or family member, typically they don't want to hurt your feelings sothey won't be brutally honest with you and you need complete brutal honesty.
On the other hand reviews aren't that simple you need to know  what you'rereviewing as well. When people review their sites they often put their energy intodesign i.e.  how well does my site look not about how well it's performing gettingranked, conversion and more important what the customers want. Why? Because theydon't know what they're looking for and they don't know the right questions to askin a web site review.
What will I review? First, I WILL be brutally honest with you. I won't sugar coatwhat you need to hear, you need to have the truth. I'll look at a site from a marketing perspective not a design perspective. I'll focus on two points ofconcern:
Traffic and Sales
I stumble onto sites each week from Idaho businesses and I'm serious when I saythis I see phenomenal ideas that are not marketed correctly for the Internet, and asimple review can change that. It won't fix everything, but you'll have a muchbetter understanding and you'll have direction about what to do next.
If you're an Idaho business with a web site take advantage of a free marketingreview today. http://www.afterlivemarketing. com/idahoreview.htm
This offer is good through the end of April.

That's what Ineeded." Brian F. Hailey, Idaho
