Trivia buffs can learn new obscure facts -- and have funtesting themselves -- seven days a week with ArcaMax Publishing's free triviatidbits, columns and interactive quizzes.
ArcaMax's free trivia newsletter ( http://www.arcamax.com/trivia ) is one of thecompany's most popular publications with 82,000 subscribers. The ezine, or "onlinenewsletter," recently expanded to a daily format with the addition of a Saturdayedition, which features "The Answer Man" by Andy Seamans. The author of "Who, What,When, Where, Why in the World of American History" takes a condensed approach tohistory in his columns, which have recently included topics such as vice presidents'trivia and famous quotations.

Until now, subscribers have received six days of content every week, including acollection of fun facts every weekday and interactive trivia quizzes on Sundays.Sunday editions include interactive trivia quizzes on topics ranging from classicnovels to space exploration. Popular quizzes recently have been on obscure topicssuch as "Stupid Criminals" and "Celebrity Motorcyclists." Once readers have takenquizzes, they can see their scores and how their results compare to other users.
The weekday editions of Trivia include a collection of fun facts on one theme perday, such as the Nobel Prize, Superman, or classic science fiction. An archive ofthese facts, as well as Answer Man columns and featured quizzes, are also availabledirectly from the ArcaMax Web site.
"Our trivia section ties in to other parts of our site in various ways," Wolf said. "Science and Technology readers can take quizzes on the periodic table or astronomy,and entertainment fans have many to choose from such as Broadway, films, andcelebrity happenings."
