FlippingBook SWF Object is a "lite" version of our componentand is intended for users who do not have a Flash development environment. The SWFObject is an SWF file that can be inserted into an HTML page. If you have evercreated HTML pages with embedded SWF files, you will have no difficulties using thisproduct. The SWF file contains our Page Flipping Engine that can be customized viathe XML file. In this way you will be able to use this product to create books withthe flipping effect simply by specifying the paths to page images in the XML file:

Aside from customizing pages, you can control the appearance of your book:background image, preloader type, intensity of shading, flipping speed, and pageloading method (full preloading or loading on demand).
The main difference between this product and our component is that you cannotcontrol your book using ActionScript commands. That is, this product is best suitedfor creating books which users flip manually and which do not require additionalbuttons for navigation, automatic flipping in slide-show mode, etc.
The simplest way is to use this product with any WYSIWYG HTML editing environment.We recommend Adobe Dreamweaver. However, the Flash SWF Object does not require anyadditional software in general, apart from a simple text editor to create HTML pagesand edit the XML file.
We supply the Flash SWF Object with a sample of an already created book that you mayuse as a starting point for your project.
