Focus Softnet has major plans for the Middle East market at Gitex and beyond. Itplans to roll out different versions of its ERP, Focus RT, for selected businessverticals. The software solutions vendor will look at penetrating the Enterprisemarket further and winning a bigger share of the pie by creating a dedicated team totake care of major projects in the GCC region. Focus also plans to bring to themarket the concept of a distributed environment bolted on a centralized database inaddition to enhancing after sales support via remote support to reduce response timeto less than 15 minutes on a 24x7 environment.
"This year, we plan to launch version 2.0 of our CRM which will be a HTML version onJava Architecture as compared to the existing Servlet based version. We also plan tofocus on niche market segments by introducing tailor made business solutions to suitdifferent verticals and industry sectors. We will be demonstrating our developmentand deployment capabilities, whether it is for ready-to-use applications or for megaprojects and will be on the look out for strategic partners from various MEAcountries," Hyder continued.
Focus, which already has vertical specific solutions such as Academic RecordsManagement (ARMS) for educational institutions and Warehouse Management Systems(WMS) for third party warehousing, is planning to launch a new division solelycatering to vertical based solutions at Gitex Technology Week 2007. With this newdivision, the company would be able to concentrate on creating more such verticalspecific solutions dedicated to meet industry specific requirements.
