Geo has successfully connected its network to the newlyexpanded Interxion London City data centre. The addition of Geoâ s dedicated fibreoptic network to the Interxion London City data centreâ s existing portfolio of 26carriers will give Interxion customers an even wider range of connectivity options.In addition, Geo customers will now be able to locate their mission-critical systemsin one of the most desirable colocation facilities in the UK. In April of this year Interxion added approximately 1,250 m of equipped space toits London City data centre, one of Interxion's 23 carrier-neutral data centreslocated in 13 cities across 11 European countries. The data centre can provide 2kWof power per m2 with N+1 redundancy and free air-cooling as standard, as well as thelatest alarm and monitoring systems. More advanced customer requirements such as 2Nredundancy configurations and high power density of up to 20kW per cabinet can alsobe set up as needed.Geoâ s fibre network runs deep through the sewer system in London, offering greatersecurity and eliminating potential downtime caused by upgrades and routine work.Their Geo.Metro service provides scalable 1 - 10 Gigabit Ethernet services orbespoke optical fibre networks.
