HP alleges that Germany based Pelikan Hardcopy Deutschland GmbHhad violated with the patented HP printer ink cartridges by selling them under theirbanner. The HP printer ink cartridges in question here are re-assigned as H06 andH08 colour cartridges, as declared by HP. According to them,  The cartridges inquestion are apparently new, as opposed to re-manufactured products. The lawsuitwhich has been registered in the Dà sseldorf District Court.
As per HP, this violation of patent of printer ink cartridges came into notice whenthe company was conducting an ongoing worldwide testing and enforcement effortswithin HP's Imaging and Printing Group. In a statement, HP claims that thesecartridges seemed to be new, as against the re-manufactured products ones.
