Now included in this product aretwo sets of bearer bar fonts, both human readable and non human readable versions.The purpose of the Bearer Bar font is to increase reading reliability by helping toreduce the possibility of misreads or short scans that may occur when a skewedscanning beam enters or exits the bar code symbol through its top or bottom edge.These bearer bar fonts are created from the ITF-14 Symbology Specifications providedby the EAN International and Uniform Code Council. Updates in the package alsoinclude improved support for Windows Vista.
