Iro nkladd Entertainment:An Indie Label with an Ironclad Approach to the Internet Age
Queens, NY Â April 19, 2006 Â Corey Banks, CEO and founder of IronkladdEntertainment Inc. announced today the internet expansion of his New York basedIndie Hip Hop and R & B label. Mr. Banks started the label in 2003 following hisdisappointments with recording artist deals from various labels both major and Indiealike.
In rapid fashion, Mr. Banks also announced the appointment of Timothy Crawford ashis President of Corporate Operations. In 2004, Mr. Banks and Mr. Crawfordperformed a successful artistic collaboration on a highly downloaded hip-hop track, Baseball Bats and Picket Signs . The two rap artists turned business partners,sought to restructure Ironkladd Entertainment (I.K.E) as not only a vehicle fortheir own music, but as a contender in the thriving music industry representing ahouse of Indie producers and un-discovered artists.
Timothy and Corey aim to utilize I.K.E.Â's cult-like internet popularity to attractnew producers and artists from within various online music related websites, such assoundclick.com, rapmusic.com and undergroundhiphop.com. The expansion is producingpromising results with various additions in both talent and management to beannounced in upcoming press and media releases slated for mid April 2006.
