The world is 3-dimensional  and itÂ's slowly becoming aware of it. The interest inthe  real 3D view, in true depth information, and the vivid auto-stereoscopicpresentation of 3-dimensional data is constantly growing. This is leading tointeresting new advancements in 3D-display technologies, which in turn, arenaturally demanding suitable software. Bitmanagement Software GmbH and Spatial ViewInc. have thus decided on a close cooperation in the fields of development anddistribution, affecting both existing and upcoming products as well as collaborationon projects.

Part of the deal is the further development of interactive and real-time-capable3D-software with the goal of optimising resources and avoiding duplicatedevelopments.  The interest in the 3D-field has skyrocketed internationally, as wasshown in the keen approval by trade show visitors at CeBIT 2007 in Hannover, saysWolfgang Opel, CTO of Spatial View Inc.  The bundling of resources is the order ofthe day to finally make the innovations in the 3D-world available to a broaderclientele cost-effectively.Â

 When talking to the innovation managers of the large telecoms and web providers,who create concepts for fields like interactive TV, communities, and interactive 3D,we exceedingly learn that the demand by end-users for the integration ofauto-stereoscopic hardware is constantly growing. Thus the pull-effect on both theusers and the suppliers of user-applications for 3D-displays is steadilyintensifying, says Peter Schickel, director of Bitmanagement Software GmbH.
