In February of 2007, the Kansas State Fair came to LogicMazewith a common request: redesign our site (www.kansasstatefair.com). This redesign,however, required more than the common aesthetic and structural changes. A majorgoal was to construct the site so that the staff at Kansas State Fair would be ablemanage the content of the site, adding new content and updating that which isalready on there, without having to spend the majority of their time beingwebmasters.
The site has been rebuilt on the front end with the intent of making it moreinteractive for viewers. Links are immediately available on the homepage forvisitors, vendors and competitors alike, allowing instant access to their section ofinterest. Scrolling news is always present at the top of the site with a link to thecalendar for people looking for activities on a specific date.
Just as the front end of the site was built with interactivity in mind, so was theadministrative back end.  It was a very intricate project. The Kansas Statepersonnel have a demanding task of keeping an extremely large site up to date on adaily basis. We worked hard to make the website a great tool to help them with thistask, said Cody Heitschmidt (LogicMaze) of the construction of the AdministrationPanel for the new site.
The Kansas State Fair web site is of LogicMazeÂ's largest client to date in profile.With the fair six months away, the website still receives over 2,000 unique visits aweek, which is predicted to triple closer to the date of the fair. The LogicMazestaff all say that they were happy to work on the project and look forward to anyother possible projects they might be able help the Kansas State Fair with in thefuture.
