New York July 30, 2007 -- Steve Rosenbaum of Magnify.net hasbeen selected as a presenter in the CEO showcase at the AlwaysOn Stanford Summitconference. The Stanford Summit features the most innovative companies, eminenttechnologists, influential investors and journalists in keynote presentations, paneldebates and private company CEO showcases. Rosenbaum was chosen to present in theNext Generation Media Tools CEO Showcase at 9:30am on Thursday, August 2nd in FisherCenter on Stanford s campus.
Rosenbaum created MTV UNfiltered, credited as the first network television series topopularize user-generated video. The show provided video cameras to the public fordirect, unedited user content.
Rosenbaum has continued his work with user-generated video and is currently thefounder and CEO of Magnify.net, a site that lets users create a video channel to anexisting website, blog or within the Magnify site. People can find, filter, andshare videos from across the web - even upload their own - and create a brandedvideo channel that they control. Magnify.net also discovers related user-generatedvideos and can add them automatically. Looking towards the fall, Magnify.net will be a hot contender for the AlwaysOnMedia 100 List, said Noah Gellman of AlwaysOn.
The Stanford Summit will be held on July 31 - August 2, 2007 in the Arrillaga AlumniCenter on the Stanford University campus.
