May 29th, 2006  In honor of Memorial Day, Sillysoft Games(www.sillysoft.net) has announced that 100 percent of American History Lux proceedsfrom now until Friday, June 2nd will be donated to charity. Specifically to theCarter Center (www.cartercenter.org), which seeks to  wage peace, fight disease, andbuild hope.Â
American History Lux is a new strategy game that takes players through the historyof the ten wars that have most shaped America. Each war comes as a map containingthe real geographical layout marking the important cities, forts, and regions of the conflict. It's available to downloadnow for PC, Macintosh, and Linux.
 It's easy to gloss over the harsh reality of conflict when playing a computer wargame. Sillysoft feels a responsibility to give something back in honor of the menand women who have fought and died to bring us the liberties that we take forgranted every day, said Sillysoft President Dustin Quasar Sacks.  This charityfundraiser is a great way for people to donate to a good cause and get a fun gamethat will teach them some history at the same time.Â
