Jerusalem, Israel TibetÂ's finance ministry operates anextensive number of servers, accessed and controlled by a number of EZ-Link KVMswitches. However, without online IP capability or non-blocking access to theservers the ministry was struggling to maintain efficient work flow management.
Once installed, the DX system provides the ministryÂ's IT staff with non-blockingaccess, enabling up to eight users to control any number of servers via a secureout-of-band connection over CAT5 cable. KVM IP access, serial control, powermanagement and user administration all come under the DXÂ's control, making it anextremely powerful management solution. DXÂ's remote access capability also meansthat users in other buildings could access and control the servers from a standardweb-browser over a secure IP connection.
