Vancouver, Canada--August 21, 2006--Password Protect Softwareannounced the release of Password Protect USB, a software program for Windows XP,98, 2000, NT, ME to protect an unlimited number of folders on internal, USB externaland removable drives. The program allows to set a password on folders containingsensitive data. There is no need to move all files and folders to a special securefolder.
Password Protect USB provides high security. If the drive is lost or stolen, nobodycan access information without the password. If Windows crashes or another problemoccurs, the user can still unprotect folders and get information back.
Password Protect USB can protect/unprotect folders on any PC the drive is connectedto. The user needs to install the program only on the external drive, not allcomputers.
Password Protect USB is very user-friendly. To protect/unprotect a folder, justright-click the folder in the right pane of Windows Explorer and enter the password.
