"I thought, this could be something crazy enough to work! Because I think peoplelike crazy/quirky ideas. If this captures people's imaginations and people check outthe site, then the pixels on the homepage will have value - and people will buy them(to display their ads etc). That's the theory anyway. The way I see it though: I'vegot nothing to lose by trying. And I'm sure it'll be fun."
In the last few months there has already been countless copycat pixel ad sitespopping up across the net. One particularly interesting Pixel site, Pixels4Earth -http://www.Pixels4Earth.Info claims that it will donate 50% of all its ad fees toenvironmental groups, in hopes of raising up to $500,000 for the environmentalgroups.
