hComs Community Chat is a feature-rich, multi-roomcross-platform web chat application. Community Chat can be installed to any webserver both under unix/windows platform and does not require any additionalsoftware. The Chat can be integrated with web site users database to import userlogin and personal details into chat. Apart from advanced text formatting, the Chatincludes other extensive user options. Sound settings include volume control, muteoption, different sounds choices for incoming, outgoing, private, and systemmessages. In addition to default rooms created by administrator, users can createtheir own rooms and invite chat users to join them. Community Chat users can blockall incoming messages from unwelcome chatters. With one click unwanted user can beadded or removed from a personal black list at any time. Chat availability statuscan be changed by clicking on one of the intuitive status icons.Community Chat is fully integrated with Site Messenger and Video Communicator. Withone click user can open private chat using Site Messenger or start real-time videocommunication with selected chatter. The chat supports GIF animated, Flash animated as well as static smiles. The smileslibrary can be extended and is managed by chat administrator. Chat courtesy andbehaviour rules can be monitored and enforced by multiple moderators. Users can bebanned from the chat or from one of the rooms, forever or for a certain time period.Moderator messages can be highlighted by means of preferred text formatting. Apartfrom monitoring users database and playing the role of moderator, the chatadministrator can create public/private chat rooms, upload custom smiles libraries,sounds alerts, set user and empty room timeouts, control room overflow. Multipleadministrators are supported.
