GridinSoft Notepad is designed to provide the power andfunctionality to satisfy the most demanding text editing requirements!
Use of the standard Multiple Document Interface (MDI) allows many files to be editedsimultaneously. The spelling checker has dictionaries for 7 languages, andadditional dictionaries can be created from word list files. Text can be dragged anddropped between files, and to other applications. GridinSoft Notepad has acustomizable tools menu, shortcuts and interface styles (skins). Text can beautomatically aligned and indented, relative to the previous line, to aid blockindentation. Print previewing, and printing with customizable headers/footers.GridinSoft Notepad has a built-in calculator that can evaluate math expressions.
For purposes such as software development, GridinSoft Notepad has a code templates,scripting engine, search commands with regular expressions. Sets of files in adirectory tree can be searched, and text can be replaced in all open documents atonce. The output of user defined tools can optionally be captured in the built-inConsole Window. This editor has a many other nice features for beginners andprofessional programmers!
GridinSoft Notepad operates under Windows 95/98/Me or Windows NT 4.0/2000/XP/2003,and requires approximately 2MB of free disk space. No required any additionalruntime libraries.
