kalmstrom.nu Outlook Solutions has released two new version of TimeCard for Outlook, the time planning and reporting tool that works inside the Outlook Calendar, so now both workgroups and single users can use this effective yet simple way to plan and report time. Users familiar with Outlook can start working with TimeCard for Outlook V4 at once.
With TimeCard for Outlook V4 users plan and report their time in the Outlook calendar. For each appointment they select one, two or three predefined properties from dropdown lists, and when the week is done they report to a database or an ASP page, still from within the Outlook calendar. This keeps time reporting simple and minimizes the risk for mistakes and errors.
TimeCard for Outlook V4 does not restrict the usage of Outlook in any way. The appointments can be extended, copied etc. just as usual. TimeCard for Outlook V4 works with Outlook 2000 and above and with Windows XP, 2000 and Vista. Data is saved in a central MS Access or SQL database, and users can report directly to them or via an ASP page perfect for personnel working on the field or from home. When synchronizing with a PAD, WAP or telephone the TimeCard for Outlook V4 properties are also synchronized and can be used.
In spite of its simplicity, TimeCard for Outlook V4 has a meta data construction that can give the management detailed information about how personnel use their time. When TimeCard users regularly send time reports into the database, each post will contain information about date, start time, duration, subject, body and the TimeCard properties the administrator has defined. These data can then be examined in the powerful integrated statistics tool OLAP Reporting Tool for Excel. With this tool, managers can create and generate reports and graphs based on the staffs time reports. These reports will give the information needed to constantly adapt and improve services.
The language of TimeCard for Outlook V4 is automatically set to the same as the Office language of the actual PC and currently support Czech, Danish, Dutch, English, Finnish, French, German, Greek, Italian, Norwegian, Portuguese, Spanish, Slovenian, Swedish and Turkish. TimeCard for Outlook V4 has an MSI-based installer and is very easy to install. Of course TimeCard for Outlook V4 supports the latest upgrades from Microsoft, like Internet Explorer 7, Vista and Office 2007.
At the kalmstrom.nu website there are several video demonstrations of installation, settings and features, as well as downloadable manuals in Word format and a Power Point presentation.
The fully functional version of TimeCard for Outlook V4 can be freely downloaded from http://www.kalmstrom.nu and evaluated for 15 days without any obligations. The price for an Organizational License is 500 EUR/ 690 USD, and that includes ten user licenses + one year of the kalmstrom.nu Support Subscription Services. Additional user licenses are 25 EUR / 35 USD each.
