PFSoft today announced the release of a scripting engine forProTraderFX platform. A combination of development tools and a new scriptinglanguage, ProTrader Scripting enables Forex traders to develop, debug, test andrefine strategies for automated trading and technical analysis indicators.
ProTraderFX Scripting features include:- A language-independent compiler, currently providing full support for the PTL(ProTrader language), MQL4 and MQLII programming languages- Numerous ready-to-use technical indicators and trading strategies written indifferent scripting languages, and an extensive array of embedded platform andsystem functions- The PTL Builder integrated development environment, equipped with script debuggingand back-testing tools, including step-by-step debugger, variable watch system andruntime analysis We have been developing this scripting facility for the past 2 years. And I firmlybelieve that this effort is well worth the time, because this is something truly newand helpful for the trading community, says Denis Borisovsky, the Founder and CEOof PFSoft.  What we tried to do is to make the huge number of existing scriptswritten in various languages accessible to our users, and to give strategydevelopers the tools we programmers cannot think of doing without.Â
Delivery of PTL Scripting takes ProTrader another step further as a versatiletrading platform for both professional traders and investors. The improvedextensibility lets ProTrader integrate with other systems in several ways:
