QuipuKit is a JSF library providing developers with ease andflexibility in creating a dynamic UI for Web-based applications.
Designed to bring richness and responsiveness to a Web UI, QuipuKit provides anextended set of AJAX-powered JSF components and client-side validation frameworkthat shifts the traditional JSF validation to the client side.
Now the company released QuipuKit 1.2. The major features of this release includethe SuggestionField component, a greatly enhanced DropDownField component, andcompatibility support for JBoss Seam framework and WebSphere Application Server.There are also numerous improvements in the DataTable, TreeTable and other QuipuKitcomponents.
The SuggestionField component allows developers to display a list of suggestionsbased on user input as well as to complete user input right in the input field. Thesuggestion feature can be configured to work either on the client side or usingAjax. The suggestion and auto-completion features have been also added to theDropDownField component. Other improvements of the DropDownField component includethe ability to scroll a drop-down list, support for multi-column lists, and manymore.
Of course, the new release comes with a considerable number of fixes to the issuesreported by our customers.
