Xander Zerge has released a new version of the RadarScreensaver - a fabulous radar simulation screensaver for Windows.
This screensaver accurately simulates a radar watching the skies.
New version introduces a feature which can make it more useful than just screensaving utility. In "On-screen message" mode it will not close as usual screensaverwhen someone moves a mouse or presses keys on keyboard. It will display a messagewhich could be prepared by computer owner.Another innovation is "Satellite-powered identification system" which acquiressatellite photo from a satellite, recognizes detected object and displays its photo.
New Radar Screensaver has been made more compatible with wider range of graphicscards - its graphics engine is now based on OpenGL.
As its previous version, the Radar Screensaver 1.71 has a lot of settings whichallow the user to configure it in many ways.These include air traffic intensity, antenna rotation speed, bi-directional antenna,cloud/terrain noises, object information markers, sector displays, five scaling gridsets, realistic geometric distortions, variable colors, AWACS mode, detection logs,sounds and path tracking lines.
Absolutely new feature is a "Santa Clause Tracking Mode". Radar can track SantaClause flying and dropping off Cristmas presents.
Radar Screensaver supports multi-monitor PC configurations. It can display same ordifferent situations on all of the monitors, connected to PC. Screen resolution andcolor quality can be set independently for each display.
