Rapidsoft being a custom software/application development company has great experience developing different types of web applications or websites of varied types for all industry types like, Construction, Education, Finance, Pharmaceuticals, Retail and most recently for a Hotel industry. Rapidsoft was involved in the development of the complete website from scratch on .NET using Ajax extensively as client has referred its competitor's site where Ajax was used with great effect.
The major challenge with the project was to meet the client's short timeline, which our experienced and efficient engineers were able to achieve it without much obstacle. Client was also very much particular about using Ajax in our development as they were familiar with the advantage of incorporating it within their site. The site was incorporated with an option where customers or visitors can look for the kind of accommodation they are looking for and can book it instantly without going through any hassle. Some of the benefits which were discovered after the completion of development are that, the website was more responsive developed in Ajax than a traditional website where Ajax has not been used. Use of Ajax also helped the client to add new services and functionality to its website having a upper hand compared to its competitors. It also helped us to create a user-friendly website for its customers. We had to implement and cope up with few issues while development using Ajax, which consumed a bit of extra time and skill and had to add in additional code in our development.
We also had to face a challenge of increased attack surface and to keep the website safe from hackers which are more prone to websites where Ajax is used. We had made sure that we maintain sufficient security to keep the website free from hackers. Since different browsers read Ajax differently, our engineers had to do additional testing for proper accessibility, in spite of the short timeline granted by the client. We had to make sure that, we make proper use of Ajax and do not make overuse of it. Finally, with so many challenges, we have delivered the website as per our client's expectation and within the timeline granted.
