With the launch of Microsoft Windows Server 2008, Winzero Technologies announced bundled software solutions licensing to accelerate the deployment of Windows Server 2008 and to reduce the cost of Windows Server 2008 upgrades or migrations and tighten Windows Server 2008 security.
The Ready for Server 2008 software bundle consists of five Winzero software solutions at one low price targeted at customers with networks larger than 500 users and Windows server 2008 early-adopter who are at the pilot testing stage to simplify the overall-complexity of Microsoft Windows server 2008 deployment.
The Ready for Server 2008 software bundle includes an enterprise license for ServerMigrator - currently the only data migration solution that moves local users, passwords and local groups, AccessReporter to verify server security, RemoveUnknown to cleanup and remove unknown accounts, PasswordCopy and RenameIT Server Edition to reduce duplicate accounts when consolidating servers.

Microsoft revealed partner resources to prepare customers for the release of Windows server 2008. According to Andy Lees, corporate vice president of the Server and Tools Marketing and Solutions Group at Microsoft, it will be "the largest enterprise launch in our history, and both Microsoft and many of our industry partners are making a significant investment in a worldwide rollout".
"We have been working with the partner community to help ensure that their products take full advantage of the capabilities and features of Windows Server 2008," said Bob Visse, senior director of the Windows Server Marketing Group at Microsoft. "We are delighted to see that approximately 80 applications have already been certified by key ISVs, and that number continues to grow. Our top priority is to provide our partners with the best development environment possible so they can address new business opportunities and bring differentiated solutions to their customers".
