Ljubljana, 02.06.2009 "The business world's Oscars", The Best Business Idea Awards is the national awards program honoring great performances and outstanding achievements in business. The award recognizes the success of new, young companies and their founding directors across Slovenia.
Red Orbit won the Best Business Idea Award over two other super finalists, including Intera and Energen. 28 business ideas from companies of all sizes and in virtually every industry were submitted for consideration. As a result the jury selected 10 finalists which were presented to the public in early May. With its innovative and as Štalec said winning product, Red Orbit convinced readers and the jury.
It's an honor to be recognized in this way. We certainly did not expect to be nominated for such an award so early in our company development, says Andraž Štalec. The awards were presented this week at the Grand Hotel Union in Ljubljana. The ceremony was hosted by Tjaša Hrobat. Peter Frankl, chief editor and Finance's CEO and recognized Slovenian entrepreneur Janez Škrabec also congratulated super finalists.
This award is based on five criteria: business culture, innovation, business team and its references, market growth and social responsibility. Red Orbit has promising market growth, impressive references and positive risk estimation. A fast development of search and social media marketing in region indicates promising future for the company. Red Orbit has an impressive, 275 percent, growth in income over past two years, indicating a solid foundations and capable management. Red Orbit was founded in 2007 by Andraž Štalec, 28, Chief Executive Officer and Boštjan Hozjan, also 28, Chief Operational Officer, following an evolution on Slovenian internet marketing field. In a past few months they developed new services in the field of internet marketing analysis, which enable their clients to assess their internet marketing strategies more precisely.
The Best Business Idea Award began in 2002 and their mission is to support innovative entrepreneurs and ideas in all phases of business development.
