Sydney, Australia August 27th: Saugatuck Technology has issued a report which shows that small businesses are 6embracing SaaS more readily during the economic recession than businesses of over 20 employees. The report also shows that 57% of all businesses aim to implement some form of SaaS or CRM software such as that of Salesforce or Microsoft Dynamics CRM this year.

The rising number of businesses looking into Salesforce type SaaS software is thought by Saugatuck Technology to be due to the current economic climate. Small businesses are being forced to cut costs and therefore collaboration software programs such as WORKetc's 'Web CRM', which offer just that, are becoming the product of choice. The small business software also provides ways to reduce workplace stress through best-practice systems and automated processes.

In a tough economic climate small business owners need to focus on improving their business, rather than just keeping it alive says WORKetc CEO Daniel Barnett. By integrating web CRM with project management software, billing, sales automation and more, we give smart owners the opportunity to make very real gains.

WORKetc are now approaching a ninth year in producing their leading CRM software, described as 'Intranet-In-A-Box'. While it's similar to Salesforce and Microsoft Dynamics CRM in that it is CRM collaboration software, WORKetc's product is geared towards small businesses of between 1 and 20 employees, allowing new and upcoming companies of this size to thrive.

Research reports released by Saugatuck Technology this month reveal that the majority of businesses investing in SaaS are SME's and not large businesses. This is good news for WORKetc as their leading product is small business management CRM software, also known as 'Web CRM'. The report came after a rise in the overall number of businesses investing in SaaS software; a shift which is thought to be largely due to the current economic climate and a need to cut business expenditure.
