San Francisco - Nov 8 -- Tired of running to the post officeeach time you need to send an important notice? Now, you don't have to. In the past,the vast majority of legal notices have been sent either via postal mail, courier orfax in order to receive confirmation of the notice being sent. SendCert introducedtoday Certified eMail, a service that provides a permanent record of each emailbeing sent.
The service, whose main feature is it's simplicity, doesn't require either thesender or recipient to have any special software. Messages are sent via webs browserand can be received using any standard email client. To prove that a message wassent, simply return to SendCert.com for verification.

The service is currently free and retains the first two-hundred-and-fifty charactersalong with sender and recipient information. The sender specifies a password thatcan be used to verify the message. Once the message is sent, the sender is providedwith a confirmation number for the transmission. The confirmation number, from emailaddress and password are used to view and print the message verification and limitsaccess to the message to authorized persons.
SendCert is a San Francisco-based start-up developing software solutions tofacilitate electronic delivery of legal documents. SendCert is mail clientindependent and can be used to send messages that can be easily received by emailusers worldwide. No special software is required to receive mail and users need onlya web browser to send mail.
