Small companies are planning to increase their internet adspend, according to a new study by DirectoryM.
A survey commissioned by the firm found that 37 per cent of SMEs are planning toincrease the size of their internet advertising marketing budget in the future, withan average of 52 per cent of SME ad budgets being set aside for internet spending.
Over two-thirds of SMEs said that the net was becoming such a key component in theirpractice that they had conducted search engine optimisation (SEO) on their website.
