The first is the newData Security module and the second is the new Solix ARCHIVEjinni MiniME subettingmodule. These two modules add new security and subsetting capability to SolixARCHIVEjinni, the industryÂ's only unified active archiving platform  a singleplatform for managing all enterprise data; structured, semi-structured andunstructured data.
The Solix ARCHIVEjinni Data Security and Solix ARCHIVEjinni MiniME modules operatetogether to make the creation of secure subsets of a production database easier andmore secure. The Solix ARCHIVEjinni MiniME module adds a secured instance subsettingtool to Solix ARCHIVEjinni that makes the creation of subsets of productiondatabases easy. The Data Security module adds a metadata-driven data security toolfor protecting confidential information in subsets and in archived instances of adatabase. The resulting secure subset or archive is as secure, if not more, than theproduction database instance.

The new Solix ARCHIVEjinni MiniME module comes with anew and powerful approach to subsetting. The new approach adds the ability to easilycreate subsets using a parameter-driven engine, greatly reducing the amount of timeand effort that is required to create subsets for non-production environments andreducing the amount of storage needed to support a non-production environment. Thesubsets created have all of the original data relationships intact, ensuring thatthey function identically to the original database. The new Solix ARCHIVEjinniMiniME approach is about two to five times faster than other subsetting tools thatuse traditional approaches, resulting in improved productivity, reduced testing anddevelopment cycles, and up to 50 percent savings on the storage infrastructureneeded to support a typical enterprise non-production environment.
The new Solix ARCHIVEjinni MiniME module has an integrated data masking engine thatcan be used to secure sensitive data while keeping the referential integrity of thesecure data intact.
