In his new role, Miyake will be incharge of Streaming21's sales, support and project management team in Japan. Hisprimary focus is to further strengthen Streaming21's leadership position in IPTV/VODmarket, and explore new business opportunities for emerging fixed mobile convergencein Japan.
Miyake is a proven executive with substantial expertise in high-tech environments inEurope and Asia Pacific. He has over 17 years of solid business development, salesand technical experiences in the mobile and broadband industries.

Prior to joining Streaming21, Miyake was the Vice President and Managing Director ofDoCoMo i-mode Europe B.V., where he led a team of highly intelligent professionalsto provide European mobile operators with consultancy services of NTT DoCoMo's"i-mode", which is the world's most popular mobile internet service. During histenure at DoCoMo i-mode Europe, he also successfully launched the DoCoMo HandsetTest Center and soon became the head of the operations division.
Prior to joining NTT DoCoMo, Miyake served as Director of Datacenter Business inJapan at Level 3 (NASDAQ: LVLT), an international communications and informationservices company, which owns one of the largest communications and Internetbackbones in the world. Before that, he spent 11 years with Mitsubishi Corporation,where he accomplished numerous IT and telecommunication projects in Asia, includingJapan, Hong Kong and China. He also led successful IC card implementation projectfor Beijing Municipal Government, together with the partner, NTT Data Communication.
Mr. Miyake received his BE and ME degrees from Toyohashi University of Technology,Japan.
