Syntheway announces version update 2.5 for its Virtual Strings VST instrument, a collection of multisampled Strings: Violin, Viola, Cello & Contrabass for Windows and Linux OS.
This update features the following improvements:
- Added Synth Strings, Hybrid Strings and Pizzicato Strings Modes.
- Updated built-in sound bank to 48 patches (36 new predefined sounds: Pad Strings, Synth Strings, Acoustic Ambience and Filters).
- Multiple-Mode Filter that includes LP (Low pass), BP (Band pass), HP (High pass), notch, peak, low pass and high pass shelving filter with adjustable cutoff and bandwidth.
- GUI totally redesigned.
- Mode selector now includes MIDI Continuous Controllers and features: Full Strings, Octaves Strings, Dark Strings, Marcato Strings, Staccato Strings, Marcato Octaves, Synth Strings, Hybrid Strings & Pizzicato Strings.
