Dallas, Texas  February 1, 2006  New LifeStyles, the nationalresource for senior living and care options, recently expanded their services withthe launch of The Child Care Source web site at www.TheChildCareSource.com. The newsite, developed by the Dallas-based interactive firm MarketNet, helps parents andcaregivers locate child care options in Texas.
 While some of our New LifeStyles employees were trying to locate child care fortheir own needs, we soon realized there wasnÂ't a user-friendly, central list ofchild care providers in Texas, said Jennifer Campbell, Online Director for NewLifeStyles and The Child Care Source.  We had the idea to create the directory,approached the company president, Doug Fusella, with the idea, did our research andthen contacted MarketNet, added Campbell.
 It was a natural transition, said Jill Bach, President of MarketNet.  For thepast five years, we have continued to customize and support the New LifeStyles website. Because of this established relationship, we were able to identify therequirements and complete development of The Child Care Source site in a strategicand cost-effective manner, added Bach.
The Child Care Source is a comprehensive guide for day care centers, after school orpart-time care, care homes, and other pediatric products and services. The web sitefeatures:
- a database of over 20,000 licensed, registered and listed child care providersthat is updated each business day;- the power to narrow a search by location, or tailor the results based on specificneeds;- an option to save favorite selections and then return to a password protected areato review those selections;- the ability to adjust text size for easy online reading;- a content management system that enables a non-technical person within The ChildCare Source organization to update child care provider listings and createcustomized feature ads; and - a lead generator for advertisers
In addition to developing a search engine friendly site, MarketNet also hosts TheChild Care Source web site and provides organic search marketing solutions thatincludes manual web site submissions, web site ranking, and ongoing maintenance andmonthly reporting. There are also plans to implement a paid search marketingcampaign.
The long term goal for The Child Care Source is to become the national directory forchild care options.
