Rhea Perry, owner of the InternetTranscribers.com, continually receives requestsfrom her current clients for writers who can convert the transcripts of their audiointerviews and conference calls into articles and ebooks. Her company also getsfrequent requests to write short marketing pieces. Because she is dedicated to meeting the needs of her Internet clients, she will beteaching a class beginning January 3, 2008 to train writers and editors in theskills needed to create these ebooks and marketing pieces.
Internet marketers are learning how profitable conference calls can be. And sincewe provide 24-hour turnaround, most of those marketers rely on our service totranscribe them, said Perry.
About three years ago, Perry continued, Internet marketers like Alex Mandossianand Dr. Jeanette Cates were teaching business owners how to conduct profitabletele-seminars. They wanted to turn those audios into print but there weren t thatmany transcribers around back then who were competent and reliable. So we startedthe InternetTranscribers.com and have been busy typing ever since. Now our clientswant those transcripts turned into articles and ebooks. So I decided to teach aclass to train writers and editors, who are already good with grammar and spelling,how to do that.
The 8-week class begins on Thursday, January 3, 2008. A one-month apprenticeshipfollows during which students will put into practice all the skills learned duringthe calls and Webinars. The goal of the Writing-for-the-Web class is to train and hire enough writers andeditors to serve the ever-expanding customer base of the InternetTranscribers.com.
